Hacked Paypal account: Corey Bailey / galang008@yahoo.com
Full Story:
He tried to scam us by sending a fraud payment via Paypal. He sent the payment on a Saturday morning and started sending numerous text messages bugging us to replenish his walletload ASAP because his credit card was already debited by Paypal. We explained to him that we don’t usually do payment verification during weekends (see Terms & Conditions page). But assured him his payment will be verified given the chance.
Later on that day, we found his payment notification including Paypal’s security department advising us that the payment may have not been authorized by the account holder. They recommended that we should not ship the item (walletload) until their investigation is complete. Paypal froze the fund and was asking for some additional information.
Since the name, address and email address in the Paypal payment did not match his Retailer profile, he was asked to email us a photocopy of his ID bearing his name, complete address and picture which match his LoadCentral Retailer profile with us as part of our verification process (see Terms & Conditions page). We then informed him that his payment was held by Paypal.
The following day, he sent numerous text messages again demanding us to replenish his walletload as soon as possible. He told us that his customers already need the load and that he will send another payment if we replenish his walletload. He even told us that he can show proofs about his bank account debited by Paypal already. But when asked for it, he would not oblige. Sound suspicious eh. We reiterated that his walletload will only be replenished once Paypal releases his payment. This time, he made some threats that he will expose us in his huge garena forum if we dont replenish his walletload by 12 midnight. We informed him that if ever Paypal releases the funds to us, we will refund it as his payment is high risk.
This is his last message to us in Facebook before he blocked us and made his Facebook account private.
Here’s the full text communication. You be the judge:
This serves as a warning to all those who are planning to scam us. Your face will surely be posted in our “Wall of Shame”.
